THEME DESIGN

Choosing a WordPress theme can take you much time deciding which is which to choose. Most beginners  are pretty much overwhelmed when it comes  to the theme design. Theme design is important, everybody wants to have a nice looking blog but that depends on your approach.

Our straight forward advice is, don’t be overwhelmed too much on the design that might end you up downloading one or the other, testing out which one best works for you. In other words do not spend too much time in choosing the ideal theme specially when you are just about to setup your first blog. Instead, focus more on the content and feed your blog with useful and meaningful information to attract more readers. It is the content that speak out about your blog and not really the design. Stay clean and simple it helps readers to focus on your articles.

FREE AND PREMIUM THEMES

Free themes doesn’t really mean that they are junk other than a premium ones. There are a lot of WordPress Theme author which has created nice themes for free. Free WordPress themes are basically a straight forward themes that provides WordPress standard functionalities. They are made  for public use at no costs such as our Free Minimalists WordPress Theme.

Meanwhile, Premium themes may cost you more over 30 dollars or more in which it offers you more fancy options such multiple header designs, drag and drop options and etc… The price of each theme may really  hurt your pocket. It is really not a good choice to go premium when you are just about to start your first blog.

Premium themes are pretty much harder to maintain it will cost you even more and will require you to pay for a 1 year support subscription whenever you need help right after your first year you bought the theme. Think again is it really worth it?

In addition, We will not tolerate you to use any of the so called nulled themes nor nulled plugins as this may be vulnerable to any script injections and hack thing. If you really wish to have a premium theme then buy it as you wish.

MOBILE FRIENDLY THEME

Every theme developer now a days are already adopting mobile friendly coding. There is seem to have no issues when selecting a responsive themes as most of the themes are mobile responsive ready which basically means that your blog theme will  respond smoothly and adjusts its layout based on the screen size and resolution which also offer better readability and usability on smaller screens such as smart phones.

It is also a good thing that you test it for yourself or see the demo page of the theme of your choice if it has one. Having a mobile friendly theme is not an option these days but rather a must have!

EASY TO SETUP

Considering that this is your  first blog setup and you are about to find a theme for your blog. Always remember to read the theme features first, what it does what it has to offer. Also, try to look  for a demo of that certain theme of your choice. Simplicity when it comes to features and design is always a great choice when starting out a blog. The less features it offers the easy it is to setup.
