It’s been a while since our last update. We haven’t got too much time writing content on our blog since we couldn’t think better of a topic to write on. Despite all that, We keep ourselves busy on the development side for the past few weeks. Let’s say four (4) weeks of sleepless night for our Free Minimalist WordPress Theme.

WHAT MADE US CHANGE THE LOOK

It was never been an easy decision for us to change the entire theme for our website. While we knew that it was not an easy process for us to do that. We could have downloaded a Free WordPress theme from which we can have a bunch of themes to choose from. But that is not the thing that we want. The reason behind this is that we receive a handful of feedback and recommendations from our friends. Taking it all in a positive way for the benefits of NIFTYGOODIES.

There are several Free Themes on WordPress official website to speed up the process. But we don’t want to spend more time tweaking and figuring out how to customize the theme based on our specification.Well, it might end-up downloading one theme to another. While developing it in our own could be challenging and a bit more complicated though a straight forward solution based on our specification.

As much as possible, we would like to develop a theme that is simple and clean just what every blogger needs to start blogging having the standard WordPress blog functionalities. Nothing more nothing less.

IT COULD BE YOUR THEME TOO

Later on the development of the theme. We came up with the idea of sharing it on public by means of submitting our theme in the WordPress theme repository. The process took us a while reading all the theme development guidelines mentioned on theme review requirements set by WordPress. It is quite a long process though.

We leave it as our small contribution to WordPress and the blogging community from all over the world. It is our own way of saying thank you to the community.
